Founded in 1910, as Asami
Shoten, the company has alway been the reliable supplier of soldering
materials to various user industries for nearly 90 years of its history.
In 1944, the company was reorganized as Nihon Handa Kogyo Co., Ltd. and
subsequntly the name was changed to Nihon Handa Co., Ltd. In 1989.

Patented flux cored wire "Rapidsol"was developed. |
| 1965 |
Approved by the Defense Agency of Japan as the manufacturer of US Federal Specification
QQ-S-571 and MIL F-14256, first in Japanese solder industry. |
| 1966 |
Approved by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry as JIS factory, covering all items of solder and cored wire. |
| 1977 |
Patented and award winning de-gas
(DG) soldering facility was built at Narashino plant. |
| 1991 |
Research and development activity
was begun at the company's Anegasaki Laboratory for the development of
conductive adhesives. This product was intorduced in the market under the
trade mark of DOHDENT |

Registered as ISO-9001 (JIS Z 9901) Quality System Standard supplier by Japan Standard Association. |

research effort is focused on the lead-free technology including Lead-free
solder alloys, flux systems and conductive adhesives for various applications.
